The Present

When we receive a present, we say, "thank you!"

But how often do we slow down and take a moment to thank God for the present?

​

Too often I find myself focused on what's next or what happened. But today, I decided to be thankful for the present.

Dear God, 

Thank you for this day. We acknowledge that tomorrow is not promised. So just like the birds in the sky, we don't have to worry about what's next when we place our trust in you. Thank you for this moment. Thank you for the present!
